Kabar dari Korea

TIN IPB x JBNU Spring 2021

“New journey will lead us into a bright future.” With this statement, three of Agroindustrial Engineering students (Otto, Shafira, and Hilyah) compete with other IPB students to participate in Jeonbuk National University Student Exchange Program, Spring Semester, 2021. Each semester, it has 10 quota students for every collaborated university. This program exempt tuition fee, accommodation, and meals during the studying time. Many majors are provided from natural science and social subjects. Participated by more than 10 countries over the world, we learn together about culture and language exchange.

Top Indonesia Universities (IPB, UI, UGM, and Unair) sent their best 18 students as Indonesia delegations. Due to Covid-19, all academicians must go through a quarantine program for 14 days before occupying their own dormitory. In this spring semester, learning activities in Jeonbuk National University use a hybrid learning system by combining traditional classroom experiences and digital course delivery. Each student is free to choose their courses and don’t have to match with their major in home university. The total courses must be applied in range 6 until 18 credits. Basically, almost all students take 3 Korean classes plus 2 other majors.

We hope you, as the young leader, can be the next exchange student and represent Agroindustrial Technology department, IPB University, Indonesia through the world. Many international opportunities can be found in IPB International Collaboration Office and any other sources. Make a target, prepare yourself, and be ready to take the chances. Feel free to ask us. Good luck!
